 - Superintendent's Message - Re: NYS ELA And Math Results

Dear Parents/Guardians: File:New (animated).gif

Please be advised that the results of the NYS English language arts and math assessments for grades 3-8 will be mailed on Saturday, August 21st. In addition, we will be mailing the results of the NYS grade 4 and 8 science assessments and the grade 8 social studies exam. Our building level administrators have been working diligently to review each student score and make determinations about programs for next year. More time will be needed during the week of August 23rd to complete this task, finalize schedules and make recommendations/changes in services for individual students, where needed.

Keep in mind, our teachers have not yet received the results due to the July 28th reporting timeline; however, we anticipate they will be eager to review the student/class scores upon the return to school on September 7th.

If you have any questions, please refer to the letters enclosed with the Parent Reports and/or reach out to the building and/or district-wide staff in the respective content area noted with the results..
