I hope all of our families had an enjoyable spring recess. I can not believe that we are in the final three months of the school year already. This month all students will be taking the NYS Assessments in ELA and math. The NYS ELA Assessment will take place over three days from April 16-18, 2013. The NYS Math Assessment will take place over three days as well, from April 24 -26, 2013. POBMS will operate on a modified bell schedule during that time, as students will take the exams in the morning and then go through an abbreviated bell schedule the remainder of the day. They will attend all of their classes each day for a shortened period of time. I look forward to a great finish to the year!
